To become a certified mechanic is a two part process. This process is for those wishing to take the online assessment followed by a certification at an Industry or PBMA event.
Step 1 is to complete the online assessment, the link and access code are available once you have paid the fee
Step 2 is to attend an in-person certification session, we have 12 testing sessions scheduled during CABDA West in San Diego:

PBMA TW Philly (Monday, Thursday, Friday)
CABDA Chicago (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
**as sessions fill they will become unavailable on the scheduling page and sessions are limited to 6 persons per session.

Upon successful completion of steps 1&2 you will receive a PBMA Certified Mechanic Placard and your certification at the basic level is now valid for two years.

Upon purchase you will be able to download a link to complete the online test with your unique user code in addition to a basic study guide for the in-person exam... you can save a copy of that or capture a screenshot in the event you need to exit and return to the exam.
