![]() We figured it was time for an update as to what has been going on behind the scenes. Within the website there are a lot of changes. You might have noticed we launched our events page and with that a calendar that you can subscribe to. The calendar will be updated with training opportunities and, of course, everywhere the PBMA will be! We are diligently working on the membership model. Just last week the Board of Directors approved the membership categories and associated fees. Our bylaws are being finalized and the industry support is bringing everything to a reality. Check out our partners page for a directory and user-friendly map of those who have already thrown support our way. Interbike - a lot to say about that, but we can't tell you everything just yet. The PBMA will have a booth on the show floor and be part of an event focused on mechanics. We will be talking during some of the tech training as well as hosting a 45 minute presentation to go over what our goals are and field any questions that are sure to arise. What we can share is that we will have some exciting stuff happening every day of the show throughout the day. We do hope to meet many of you who have found interest in the association and talk about what will be meaningful for all of our futures. We have the Park Limited Edition TS-2.2 truing stand raffle going on and hope to introduce one or two more before Interbike rolls around. These raffles are made possible by the generosity of our partners. The funds raised during these go directly towards paying the costs associated with getting the association off the ground. The Board members remain volunteer positions and the association has no employees. Much more soon! Comments are closed.
